Summer camp is more than a place, it is an experience. Creating special camp experiences requires extensive planning. This experience requires much planning -- from staffing to programming to enrolling each camper in the best group for him or her, attention to detail is critical. Because we want each camper's experience to be special, we have year-round directors whose only job is planning for your child's summer.

Harold Gordon has been a member of the Camp Kinneret staff for over 30 years. He first came to Camp Kinneret in 1975 and was a member of the general camp staff until 1982 when he became the Camp Director. In 1987 he purchased Camp Kinneret from the founding directors. Today he is recognized as a leader in camping in Southern California, and is an active member of the American Camping Association and the Western Association of Independent Camps. Harold graduated from the University of California at Davis and holds a teaching credential from CSU, Northridge.

Camp Director Ryan Rosen is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in design. Ryan has years of camp experience dating back to his early days as a junior counselor & lifeguard. Prior to returning to Camp Kinneret in 2007, Ryan spent two summers as co-director of Sunny Skies Day Camp, following 3 years as Lead Assistant Director at Camp Kinneret and 3 years as the Camp Kinneret Pool Director.
