Small groups are a cornerstone of the Kinneret program.Combined with low camper to counselor ratios, small groups help make each child's experience special by optimizing peer interaction, camper-to-counselor relationships, quality supervision, safety and program participation. Most of our groups have 13-14 campers each day. The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten groups have 11-12 campers each day. Groups of this size are large enough to provide a mix of different children, friends, and personalities, and small enough to facilitate significant positive interaction between campers and their counselors. They are large enough to divide into two teams for various athletic activities, and small enough to afford everyone a turn and attention from instructors at all of the camp activities.
