The best time to see our program in action is during the summer, but Spring Open Houses also provide a great time to visit. We have two Open Houses for families to learn more about our program.

Sunday, April 20, 2008	1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

We know that parents often want to see camp before making a final decision for their children.  With 95+% of our new campers each year referred to us by previous camp families, we also know that most applications arrive well before our scheduled Open House dates. We wish that we owned our camp property and that we could invite parents to visit at any time.  Unfortunately, we don’t and therefore prior to May 1st visiting is limited to our Open House dates each year. However, you can apply with confidence because we have designed our enrollment and withdrawal policies so that you have nothing to lose by submitting an application before seeing camp. 100% of the amount submitted by new families with their applications is fully refundable for any reason until May 1st.  (No registration or application fee will be kept.) 

(A little history…Camp Kinneret first moved to our present location at the former Hidden Trails Camp site in 1971.  The property was purchased by the Gateway Church in the mid-80’s and we have continued to lease from the church since that time.  Our lease provides us with full access to the property during the summer; however, we are only permitted our two Open House visiting days during the spring.)

Visiting After the Scheduled Open House Dates

For families who are unable to attend one of the scheduled Open Houses or who apply after the Open House dates, we schedule 2 or 3 late afternoon weekday camp tours during the month of May.  Please call the camp office for more information after April 20th - (818) 706-8255 or (805) 523-7711.
