Personally placing each camper in the correct group; finding, recruiting, interviewing and hiring staff who understand the importance of their work at Camp Kinneret and creating special camp experiences all require extensive time and planning throughout the year. That is why we have a director and office staff who work full time year round on nothing but camp and are always available to parents.

Camp Director Ryan Rosen is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in design. Ryan has years of camp experience dating back to his early days as a junior counselor & lifeguard. After 3 years as the Camp Kinneret Pool Director followed by 3 years as the lead Assistant Camp Director, Ryan spent two summers as co-director of Sunny Skies Day Camp. He returned to Camp Kinneret as a director following the 2007 camp season. Ryan is active in professional camp directing circles, serving on the board of the Western Association of Independent Camps.
